Clear Terms for Responsible Professional Support

Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, relevant guidelines, usable materials, realistic deadlines and timely clarification where required. Delayed, incomplete or substantially changed information may affect scope, timing or fees.

Clients should only provide materials they own or are authorised to share and remain responsible for institutional, professional, ethical and legal requirements that apply to their work.

Services are intended to strengthen research development, analytical understanding, editing, review and communication. Researchers retain intellectual ownership of work submitted under their names and remain responsible for understanding, verifying and appropriately attributing that work.

ProEdge Alliance does not support data fabrication, falsification, fabricated references, misrepresentation of authorship or circumvention of applicable academic-integrity rules. Further principles are explained in the Academic Integrity statement.

Fees may reflect the nature of the service, project level, complexity, volume, analytical requirements, turnaround, corrections and specialist requirements. A quotation is based on the information available when it is prepared and may need revision if the scope changes materially.

Payment, cancellation and refund conditions should be communicated in the applicable quotation, invoice or project agreement. This website does not establish a separate universal refund rule.

Timelines depend on a confirmed scope, access to required information and timely client communication. A requested deadline is not confirmed until it is accepted as part of the engagement.

Review and revision terms should be defined for the project. New requirements, material changes in direction or feedback outside the agreed scope may require a revised timeline or additional quotation.

Project information should be handled confidentially and used for the purpose of assessing or delivering the agreed service. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed across email, hosting and internet systems, so a suitable transfer process should be agreed for unusually sensitive data.

Pre-existing intellectual property remains with its owner. Ownership and permitted use of bespoke deliverables should follow the applicable quotation or project agreement and any rights belonging to third-party sources, institutions, publishers or software providers.

Universities, supervisors, ethics bodies, funders, clients, journals, editors and reviewers make independent decisions. Clients remain responsible for checking and satisfying their current requirements.

ProEdge Alliance does not guarantee academic grades, supervisor approval, journal acceptance, publication, funding, commercial results or other professional outcomes. Support can improve readiness, clarity and presentation without controlling third-party decisions.
